Supporting You Through Trauma

Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories—it lives in our bodies.

Trauma comes in many forms. Some experiences are what we often think of as "big T" trauma—events that are shocking, overwhelming, or life-threatening. Others are more subtle, sometimes called "small t" traumas—chronic stress, emotional neglect, or experiences that left you feeling unseen, unsafe, or unworthy. Everyone carries some form of trauma, and all of it matters.

Trauma doesn’t just live in our memories—it lives in our bodies. Left unprocessed, it can feel like a boulder in a stream, blocking the natural flow of energy, emotion, and vitality. You might notice this as anxiety, disconnection, reactivity, numbness, or feeling stuck in patterns that don’t make sense.

In therapy, I offer a safe and grounded space to begin gently working with the parts of you that are holding pain. I take a somatic (body-centered) approach that includes nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and parts work. We move at a pace that feels right for you, honoring your inner wisdom while creating space for healing and reconnection.

The goal isn’t to relive the trauma—it’s to help your system release what it no longer needs to carry, so you can feel more whole, alive, and at ease in yourself.
